Among them DMC & BDMC are responsible yellow colour turmeric. For use, extraction done by steam distillation, soxhlation, ultrasonic assisted extraction, enzymatic microwave extraction. Thus, extracted components separated purified use according to their pharmacological activities anti-septic, anti-oxidant, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-mutagenic anti-carcinogenic etc.
